MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – On Monday, the board selected Appleton Area School District Assistant Superintendent Matthew Zimmerman out of the final three candidates. Zimmerman served Appleton Schools since 2011, most recently as Assistant Superintendent and before that, as Director of Technology Services and Innovation. He previously served as Principal of Stephen Foster Elementary Charter School for seven years. Before Appleton, Zimmerman was Assistant Principal of Oshkosh West High School for one year and Dean of Students for three years.
